Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2015
11 August 2015
Northern Manufacturing & Electronics returns to EventCity, Manchester from September 30th to October 1st.
Southern Manufacturing was one of the first exhibitions I attended and it was great to see such a wide range of exhibitors. Northern Manufacturing sounds just as promising with a huge variety of vendors and range of activities planned.
The industrial technology and engineering show will field a large list of exhibitors. Now in its third year, the show will follow a similar format and scope to it's Southern sister. Over 250 companies are expected to take part this year, covering a wide range of activities from electronics production, components and subcontract solutions, to machinery, tooling and production hardware. Also represented are suppliers of industrial fixtures & fittings, consumables and business services such as IP protection, training and finance.
The event allows visitors to address a wide number of sourcing and production issues in a single visit. This year, the show adds a new feature – RoadRailAir – reflecting the region’s supply chain strengths in aerospace, automotive and public transportation manufacture.
EventCity is located very close to Manchester City Centre, and is served by public transport and air links to the rest of the UK and beyond. The site has 3000 free car park places and is conveniently situated just off junctions 9 and 10 of the M60.
Alongside a selection of exhibitors, ranging from global machinery manufacturers to local special firms, the show offers a free technical seminar programme running over both days of the event. Authorities from industry will present on a range of topics, including the aerospace supply chain, Lean, CE Marking, intellectual property protections, innovation and 3D printing.
Entry to Northern Manufacturing & Electronics is free. Visit www.industrynorth.co.uk to view exhibitor lists and to sign up for free entry tickets.
