Lauterbach to sponsor The UK Device Developers' Conference

25 November 2014

Lauterbach is to be a lead sponsor for the UK Embedded Systems event, for engineers working in the development of intelligent systems and devices.

The Conference is to take place in Reading, Cambridge, Manchester and Uphall (Scotland) during May and June 2015 and is expected to attract more than 300 senior hi-tech developers.

Richard Blackburn, Conference Manager, comments they are very pleased to have support for the Conference from Lauterbach. They are a world leader in the design and manufacture debug tools and they bring a lot of expertise to this event. It's great to have them on board again.

Lauterbach tools have become a favourite with many hi-tech engineers and the company is recognised for both engineering excellence and exceptional technical support. Lauterbach tools support all the major families of microprocessor cores, covering products from 75 silicon companies. The quality and capability enable engineering teams to develop robust code whilst minimising development time lost to debugging.

Barry Lock, UK Manager, Lauterbach, said they are very happy to be supporting the 2015 UK Device Developers' Conference. They think that a well run UK Conference such as this is essential to the industry, so are keen to support it and see it grow. It is also an important opportunity to demonstrate the latest debug technologies and share expertise in this field.

The UK Device Developers' Conference is an annual event that explores the new technologies and tools that are used in the development of microprocessor controlled systems and electronics. The aim of the event is to provide a productive forum whereby engineers can meet key industry experts from software, design tool and hardware vendors. The Conference includes a choice of half-day technical workshops, two streams of technical presentations and a vendor exhibition.

Blackburn also comments that the Conference is very much about discovering and exploring new technologies, and the chance to meet with industry experts and fellow developers. It is thought that engineers walk away from this event with solutions to tricky problems, important new discoveries and plenty of new design ideas. Certainly they have had a lot of feedback, in this respect.
