PCB coating pen are for workbench or toolkits

11 June 2014

Intertronics has launched the CircuitWorks Overcoat Pen for coating PCBs  during manufacture, rework and prototyping.

It can also be used to replace permanent solder resist or mask over repaired areas, or where it is damaged or missing.

The pen is a handy, quick way to apply an acrylic conformal coating to circuit board tracks,  says the company, as protection against shorts, moisture, abrasion, fungus and other environmental hazards. It enables quick easy repairs while meeting the requirements of MIL-I-46058C and IPC-A-610D. The acrylic coating contains a fluorescent indicator for visual confirmation of coverage.

IT is also convenient for spot coating application on PCBs, whether in production or in the field.
