Op amps improve motion sensor accuracy

ROHM has  developed op amps designed for motion sensor applications such as accelerometers (shock) and angular velocity detection.

The BD5291G and BD5291FVE use the company’s analogue technology, enabling I/O full-swing operation at only 1.7V. A high common-mode rejection ratio results in a small-signal processing accuracy that is 18x greater than conventional products, claims the company.

The op amps can be used for microphone amps, active filters, buffer amps and amplification circuits in tablet PCs, gaming equipment  and portable CD/DVD players.
