Pico Technology joins MathWorks Connections

As a result, the PicoScope 3000 Series oscilloscopes now have an instrument driver for the Instrument Control Toolbox.

According to the company, the provision of high-level instrument drivers will simplify the process of acquiring data from Pico Technology devices into the MATLAB workspace, allowing customers to process the data using MATLAB Toolboxes such as the Signal Processing Toolbox.
The PicoScope 3000 series oscilloscopes are small, lightweight and portable and are used in design, research, test, education, service and repair. The USB-powered oscilloscopes.

MATLAB users will be able to communicate directly with the company’s hardware using Instrument Control Toolbox from MathWorks and a native MATLAB instrument driver that is included at no extra charge along with the Pico Technology hardware. Users can control instruments directly from MATLAB, including instrument setup, data collection and any other functionality available to the device.
