National Electronics Week UK tour continues north
23 April 2013
National Electronics Week UK heads to Scotland 1 and 2 May, continuing the new format of regional shows.
Following on from the North West event, the event will run from 1 to 2 May 2013 at The Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston (next to Edinburgh Airport).
Opening times are 1 - 6pm on Wednesday 1 May and 9.30am - 3.30pm on Thursday 2 May. The event offers a host of exhibiting companies and key industry speakers including a keynote from the Vice President of Public Affairs from ARM Stephen Pattison on ‘Internet of things’.
Supported by Scottish Enterprise, other key trade associations and publications, the event targets key businesses and a strong visitor audience. They are a new direction for the UK electronics and embedded industry, offering regional events instead of a single national one. The format offers companies the chance to interact in a more relaxed environment, all stands are the same size and all are a shell scheme build, therefore providing an element of equality amongst exhibitors on the show floor.
On the first evening, ESCN (Electronic components supply network) will be supporting a drinks reception.
After Scotland, the show heads to the South West of England - to University of Bristol in September.
