PCIM preview: Power management and energy saving

At PCIM in Nuremberg next month (14 to 16 May) International Rectifier will showcase energy saving and high-density technologies.

At this year’s PCIM (Power Conversion Intelligent Motion) Europe 2013, visitors to the International Rectifier stand in hall 9 (stand 413) will be able to meet engineering staff demonstrating the company’s COOLiR technology for automotive, the µIPM integrated modules and Gen8 IGBTs for motor control applications, and the company’s GaN-based power device platform, GaNpowIR.


The company’s SupIRBuck integrated voltage regulators for DC/DC applications, will also be shown, alongside benchmark MOSFETs for a range of applications.


The company’s management experts will also participate in presentations and sessions from ‘CooliR2Die Technology: A building block for high power automotive HEV and EV inverter applications’ on Wednesday at 2pm to ‘The Status of 600V GaN on Si based Power Devices’ at 3.30pm on Thursday 16 May.
