Thank you to everyone who made a nomination for this year’s e-Legacy awards. The general standard of the entries was exceptionally high and we appreciate everyone who took the time to enter.

The very high standard of entries gave the panel a really tough job in choosing the finalists, but that is now completed and the finalists have been posted onto the EPD website. You can find the finalists here with further details of all the entries.

Now I’d like to ask you, the reader, to do your bit and vote for the entries you think should receive the prestigious e-Legacy awards for this year. There are seven categories in this year’s awards, six of which will be decided by EPD readers; Environmental Design, Contribution to Sustainability, Investment in Education and Training, Advances in Lighting, Medical Advances and Alternative Energy. I would appreciate if you took the time to vote in all six to give the best possible representation of EPD’s readership. The final category is for Outstanding Achievement, which will be chosen by myself from all the nominees.

As an added incentive to vote, for the second year in a row, one of our main sponsors, Ansmann Energy, has donated a fantastic remote controlled racing car to give away to one lucky reader. The racing specification Mad Rat model is capable of up to 50 miles per hour and comes with all the components required for a fully operational racing car.

Once again, the awards ceremony will be held on 13 September at the prestigious Kensington Rooftop Gardens in the heart of London. This venue has proved to be very popular in the past and the food and surroundings are second to none. If you’d like to join us for this highly enjoyable afternoon, please call Keith Murray on 01732 359990 to book.
