Hear Cliff in California
11 January 2011
Cliff Electronics will be exhibiting at NAMM in California, later this month, so Move It!
NAMM, the USA based National Association of Music Merchants is a not-for-profit association that unifies the $17 billion global music products industry. The annual exhibition showcases the newest innovations in musical products, recording technology and sound and lighting equipment. NAMM 2011, taking place from 13-16 January, anticipates more than 1400 exhibitors and an attendance of over 85,000 visitors from more than 100 countries. But as it’s taking place in January, no-one is going there for a Summer Holiday.
Already in use by global music brands, Cliff will be displaying their new DC10L dual gauge DC sockets which accept 2.1mm and 2.5mm plugs, new transparent knobs for use with illuminated encoders and their wide range of jack plugs, jack sockets, the ‘combi-Jack’ (Jack+XLR connector socket which will accept both 0.75in jack and 3 pin XLR plugs), the ‘stack-jack’ space saving socket which allows greater component density on the PCB and XLR and RCA Phono connectors.
Other components to be shown by Cliff include terminal binding posts for loudspeakers, control knobs and foot pedals. A standard range of foot pedals is available and custom models may be produced on request to include multi way LEDs and application specific switching and connection.
John Hall, General Manager of Cliff Electronics comments: “The music industry is a very important market for Cliff and we have components designed in to most leading equipment manufacturers. The NAMM show is a great shop window for us and an opportunity for us to demonstrate genuine Cliff products in a market where inferior, counterfeit products are widespread.”
