NEW Events has confirmed that National Electronics Week 2011 is taking place from 12-13 April, at the NEC Pavilion in Birmingham.
NEW UK offers electronics professionals in-depth product knowledge and added value to develop within the electronics sector. The UK electronics industry is a world leader within this field and NEW UK is the only show in this country dedicated solely to this area of expertise. For this reason, NEW UK is ideal for anyone operating in the electronics industry and provides organisations with the chance to share ideas, learn about the latest technologies and network with other professionals.
With leading companies in the design, embedded, EMS, SMT, component manufacturing and distribution sectors present at the show, NEW UK offers a host of opportunities to give businesses a good platform to operate in this sector. With pre-registration for the show now live, NEW UK features a number of opportunities for organisations wanting to discover more about rapid prototyping, R&D, innovation, production, speed, reliability, IP and quality.
NEW UK will also showcase a live production feature on the show floor from a collaboration of companies, including ALR, DEK, Juki and Nutek. Other highlights will include new product and application launches, multiple topic seminars and the chance to interact with international exhibitors present at the show.
On top of this, NEW UK 2011 is co-located with the Gadget Show Live, the UK’s ultimate consumer electronics event. As part of this initiative, NEW Events is offering 5000 free tickets, enabling visitors to gain entry to the Gadget Show Live’s exclusive trade and press day, taking place on 12 April. NEW Events will be giving away these tickets to electronics enthusiasts visiting NEW UK.
Claire Saunders, Director of NEW Events, commented: “What a great opportunity this is for the UK Electronics industry to come together and make lasting networks for their organisations that will stand them in good stead for years to come. National Electronics Week UK provides organisations with the chance to learn about the most up to date technologies within the electronics sector, helping to ensure those who attend are up to speed with all new advancements in the industry. Featuring everything from an extensive seminar programme through to live production lines on the show floor, NEW UK 2010 looks set to attract a variety of electronics professionals to the show. Spaces for the event will fill up quickly and pre-registration is now up and running, so I would recommend that people register for the show immediately to avoid disappointment.”
