Exhibitors bring new and proven technologies to NEW SA 2010

NEW is now applying its successful formula to the South African market

Having built up a strong following in the UK over the last few years, NEW is now applying its successful formula to the South African market.

So far, it’s received a huge vote of confidence, attracting the support of some of the industry’s biggest names; Actum Electronics, Altium SA, Avnet Kopp, Brabek, Communica, Dizzy Enterprises, EBV SA, Goepel Electronics Ltd., Juki, MYDATA Automation Ltd, Radel, RS Components SA, Testerion and Zetech to name just a few.

Amongst the new and proven technologies on show will be a host of manufacturing solutions from Zetech. The company’s display will include screen printing and process support products from DEK, AOI systems from Marantz, SolderStar Plus thermal profiling system, Mantis Elite & Lynx stereo microscopes, KOKI soldering materials, and more. In addition, Denistron Display Solutions will be showcasing its latest OLED, TFT and LCD display solutions and proprietary Development Kits. The Denistron team will be demonstrating their latest displays and kits that are specifically designed with industrial applications in mind.

Hamamatsu Photonics will be introducing its latest range of Time Delay Integration (TDI) cameras and sensors. In addition to its high-resolution back-thinned CCD sensors, Hamamatsu will be showing its latest range of light and infrared detectors for applications such as optical communications, analytical instruments and light-level monitoring. Also, Graphic plc will have samples of its new copper and resin-filled via products on display at the show.

Meanwhile, the Swaziland Investment Promotion Authority will be at the show to promote the area as an ideal location for the electronics and assembly industry. The organisation will be meeting with companies either importing to, or exporting from, South Africa to promote Swaziland’s role as a competitive, efficient, low-cost location for business.
