Promation used Apex to demonstrate its backend handling solutions.
Its pneumatic pop-up ball table workstations are interfaced into an adjacent roller bed conveyor that can be configured with operator controlled pop-up ball eyelets. The solution is suitable for manual assembly or routing of heavy products such as servers, televisions, personal computers and other heavier type of products. The pop-up balls provide ease of transfer from station to station and, when retracted, secure the product for assembly or test.
Each workstation can also be configured with numerous other useful features such as overhead tool trolleys, tool balancer, parts bin panel on swing arm, eight-outlet power strip, wire mesh or laminated shelves, and rear flow racks.
