02 December 2008

Mitsubishi Electric has introduced the DX-TL308E to its range of digital security products.

The new eight-channel DVR uses MPEG-4 compression to provide 24/7 surveillance and real time recording up to 200 frames per second. It also supports multiple protocols; pan, tilt and zoom control of PTZ dome cameras. All operations can easily be performed including selecting and copying to an external USB device for storage or evidence purposes via a mouse. The new model is also equipped with motion detection, time and date search facility, and can be connected to Mitsubishi’s DX-KB5 keyboard for advanced control.

All of the company’s DVR’s are claimed to be suitable for applications including retail, banking, corporate and the public sector. They all feature a 24-month warranty, and technical support is available from Mitsubishi’s in-house service division.
