Bringing Real-Time Distributed Connectivity to AI-Powered Installations

Through its collaboration with artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor leviathan NVIDIA, Real-Time Innovations (RTI) will now be able to offer support to the NVIDIA Holoscan software development kit (SDK).

This will be done via the highly-scalable RTI Connext software framework. It will result in real-time data connectivity being benefited from, thus resulting in ultra-responsive low-latency operation. Engineers developing AI-enabled sensor processing applications (such as digital surgery and safety-critical industrial automation systems), must be able to implement set-ups that have access to distributed, reliable and continuous data streaming across a number of different devices and data sources. The RTI Connext connectivity framework will mean that those using the NVIDIA Holoscan SDK will be able to take advantage of flexible integration, accelerated workflows and rapid project completion.
