Software/IP Aids Sophisticated SoC Development

Californian start-up Baya Systems has just announced the 1st offerings from its software-driven IP technology portfolio.

Though these items, the company will be able to facilitate the development of complex single-die and multi-die system-on-chip (SoC) implementations, as well as mitigating many of the associated risks involved. Its WeaverPro software platform means that SoC designers are fully supported from initial specification definition right through to post-silicon tuning activities. Complementing this, the WeaveIP provides the essential component elements for constructing a unified fabric capable of delivering elevated performance parameters. Baya's unique software-driven architecture is pivotal in achieving maximum design effectiveness. Algorithmic optimisation allows greater design reuse, as well as reducing silicon and power resource allocation - but without having to make compromises in terms of the performance attained.
