Flexible 550W-Rated AC/DC PSU Family Supplied in Low-Profile Form Factor

With a 550W output rating, the CCP550 AC/DC power supply units (PSUs) from XP Power have the adaptability to attend to a broad range of customers’ needs.

Suitable for use in medical and industrial contexts, these PSUs come in a 127.0mm x 76.2mm x 37.5mm size format and attain elevated levels of power density. 6 different voltage outputs are available. These are 12VDC, 15VDC, 18VDC, 24VDC, 36VDC and 48VDC. Their earth leakage current is <400µA, with patient leakage being <90µA. Class B electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) standards guidelines are adhered to. Convection, conduction or forced-air cooling arrangements are supported, giving scope for employing whichever thermal management configuration is most applicable. They consistently deliver efficiency levels above 90% and will reach up to 92% efficiencies (dependent on the load and operating conditions). A 300khrs mean time between failure (MTBF) can be expected. The breadth of possible uses includes clinical ventilation units, patient monitoring devices, imaging systems, UV curing equipment, test instrumentation, process control systems, factory automation hardware, etc.
