Major Investment Leads to Improved Calibration Capabilities

04 June 2024

UKAS-accredited calibration services provider Calibrationhouse has instigated a significant financial outlay in order to furnish customers with a broader array of different capabilities.

The new calibration services being offered will see the company effectively become a 1-stop shop in this sector. It will be possible for many of the calibration activities to be conducted directly at customer locations for added convenience. Verniers, micrometers, height gauges, thermal imaging cameras and anemometers had already been added to the company’s overall offering during the course of the last year. Current transformers, high-pressure gauges, liquid flow, mass, gauge blocks and humidity devices have now been brought in too. By engineers being able to carry out on-site calibration work, test equipment downtime can be minimised. Alternatively, customers can send the equipment to Calibrationhouse to deal with.

As Andrew Simpson, Manager of Calibrationhouse, notes; “We are providing a comprehensive calibration solution of the highest quality that enables us to calibrate almost all of our customers test equipment, as recognised by our continuous accreditation as an approved vendor for the prestigious UK defence sector.”
