Avnet ASIC Gets TSMC Endorsement

Avnet ASIC, an innovative ASIC/SoC solutions provider that is part of Avnet Silica, has become one of foundry giant TSMC's value chain aggregators (VCAs).

This will see the Israel-based operation established as a channel for serving TSMC clients in need of custom ASIC support. It will take care of projects from start to finish - covering everything from the initial design concept, through layout implementation, all the way to full-scale production. As a VCA partner, Avnet ASIC will have access to TSMC's latest silicon process technologies. It will undertake design enablement within TSMC's Open Innovation Platform, where IP development, design, backend, wafer manufacturing, assembly and testing will all be encompassed.
