4.3µF Capacitance 3-Terminal MLCCs

Supplied in a 0402 package format (and thereby having just a 0.4mm × 0.2mm footprint), the 100V-rated GJM022 series of multi-layer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs) from Murata are intended for use high frequency scenarios.

Leveraging the company’s cutting edge thin-layer forming and high-precision laminating techniques, it has been possible for these passive components to achieve elevated levels of performance while keeping board real estate allocation to a minimum. Among the places where they will be deployed are 5G mobile communications hardware, automotive systems, etc.

“5G is represents a significant performance improvement over previous generations of cellular communications, but for engineers to take advantage of this exciting technology in their designs they require the support of high-quality passive components,” Nakagawa Hidetoshi, Murata's General Manager notes. “With the GJM022/100V series we have listened to the market’s technical demands and met them head on.”
