Over the course of 2023, distribution heavyweight DigiKey managed to bring in a further 450 new suppliers to strengthen its linecard. These were either added to its core business, or have been incorporated into its supplementary DigiKey Marketplace and Fulfilled by DigiKey initiatives.

Through such expansion activities, the company’s customers are now able to get access to 1.7 million new parts, with more than 230,000 of these parts readily available from stock. Among the many new additions are the asset monitoring gateways (AMGs) for Banner, Molex’s Loxon locking quick disconnect terminals, PSoC 4000T microcontroller units (MCUs) from Infineon, Tagore's TP44200NM wide bandgap FETs and Würth’s push-pull transformer components,
"2023 was a year of record-breaking innovation as we continued to offer the newest technologies and reinforce our position as the distribution leader of a vast and expanding selection of components across many product groups," notes Mike Slater, DigiKey’s VP of Global Business Development. “As we look forward to 2024, inventory is stabilising and returning to a state of normalcy, supporting DigiKey’s commitment to accelerate progress for every designer, buyer and builder by offering the largest supplier portfolio and widest product offering.
