Debug Probe Target Interface Adapter for Arduino Platform

26 January 2024

The Arduino MKR Adapter from SEGGER has been designed to make J-Link connection to open source hardware more straightforward.

It means that the need for soldering and use of additional jumper wires when connecting a J-Link (or J-Link EDU Mini) debug probe to an MKR series board is avoided - thereby resulting in greater convenience for engineers/makers. The adapter can connect a board to a J-Link EDU Mini with 0.05?-pitch connector or a regular J-Link with standard 20-pin header.

“The Arduino project has always had a strong focus on students and hobbyists, so we really appreciate SEGGER’s support in this area," states Massimo Sacchi, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Arduino PRO. “The SEGGER J-Link EDU Mini is perfect for some of our customers, as is the availability of professional tools at no cost for our non-commercial users. Of course, our commercial customers benefit from this support as well.”

"We are thrilled to simplify access to our offering for the Arduino community with the Arduino MKR Adapter," Dirk Akemann, SEGGER’s Marketing Manager adds. “Our goal is to provide solutions that make embedded system development more accessible and efficient for everyone.”
