Wi-Fi 6E Antenna NPIs

17 January 2024

Addressing the widespread uptake of IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E) wireless communication technology, Mouser Electronics has just announced several new product introductions (NPIs) - with relevant antenna solutions from some of its key supply partners.

They are as follows:
  -    Linx Technologies’ externally-mounted UAM Wi-Fi 6E/Wi-Fi 7/Bluetooth/ZigBee multi-band embedded antennas. These units benefit from a unique snap-in feature, which makes attachment to their assigned chassis simpler and quicker.
  -    Abracon’s omnidirectional Wi-Fi 6E flexible printed antennas, which offer high-performance communication capabilities, while being contained in low-profile and easy to integrate packages. As well as being applicable for consumer applications, they are also rugged enough for use in industrial contexts.
  -    The FR4-based WXP3015W08 antennas from Kyocera AVX, which for Wi-Fi 6E transmissions deliver a 5.90dBi peak gain and maintain a 60% average efficiency. These antennas feature an embedded Wi-Fi dipole design.
