Altus Set to Participate at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics

08 January 2024

Drawing on considerable expertise in relation to the capital equipment supply chain, Altus Group will be exhibiting at this year’s Southern Manufacturing & Electronics (6th - 8th February, Farnborough).

At the company’s markedly expanded stand (#J80) there will be details of the technologies that it has for attending to essential electronics production processes.

Among the equipment on display will be:
 - The Koh Young Zenith Alpha HS+ 3D automated optical inspection (AOI) solution - which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate its throughput.
 - Ko Young's KSMART inspection software - which is intended for data collection, analysis and PCBA process optimisation.
 - Asscon’s compact VP510 vapour phase system for soldering processes - which has an optional cooling mechanism.
 - Essemtec Fox 2 modular pick-and-place units - which offer the flexibility for high-mix, low-volume production scenarios.
 - Promation’s soldering robots - which support highly efficient automated soldering workflows.

"We were completely overwhelmed by the interest at last year's show and knew we had to come back bigger and better," states Joe Booth, CEO of Altus Group. "This year, we've doubled our stand size so even more customers can get hands-on with the latest equipment transforming electronics production."
