Element Gains NRTL Test Lab Status

Established test service provider Element Materials Technology has just received Nationally Recognised Testing Laboratory (NRTL) accreditation. Consequently, it will be able to provide evaluation, testing and certification for a broad array of commercial and medical devices.
The company will now be in a position to address new opportunities for growth in relation to connected technologies, life sciences and healthcare. NRTL status gives it the license to operate in the segments of:
- Medical equipment, in conformance with ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 safety/performance guidelines.
- Audio/video, information and communication technology equipment under the UL 62368-1 standard.
- Electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use under UL 61010.
