Industry Heavyweight Brought in to Head Up Manufacturing & Operations at Pragmatic Semiconductor

Specialist in ultra-low cost flexible ICs for use in IoT and healthcare, Pragmatic Semiconductor has just recruited seasoned semiconductor professional Shane Geary.
Drawing upon many years of relevant experience, Geary will serve as the Cambridge-headquartered company’s SVP for Manufacturing & Operations. He has strong leadership experience and a highly successful track record. Prior to joining Pragmatic, he had been VP of Manufacturing Operations & Technology at Analog Devices - having worked for the company for nearly 30 years (on both sides of the Atlantic).

His expertise in process technology, manufacturing and operations and his demonstrated track record of execution will be key to ensuring our continued success in scaling the business across our new 300mm wafer production lines in Durham, UK, to meet customer demand,” states David Moore, Pragmatic’s CEO.

Geary has a master's degree in Microelectronic Engineering from University College Cork, plus a master's degree in Applied Statistics from Sheffield Hallam University. In addition, he is currently in the process of finishing his MBA at the University of Warwick.
