Compact Thermal Imaging Module with 160° FoV

Supporting a 160° field-of-view (FoV) and featuring a 120 x 120 pixel resolution, the Lepton UW thermal imaging module from Teledyne FLIR is contained within a tight volume - thereby keeping it aligned with SWaP demands.

This compact module (which has 8.47mm x 12.7mm x 11.14mm dimensions) delivers thermal sensitivity below 50mK margins and supports a 400° dynamic range. It is highly suited to applications such as fire detection, process examination and building automation (people counting). Likewise, it can be used in smart home systems, extended reality (EX) equipment and the condition monitoring of industrial machinery. 

“Offering the ultra-wide field of view in such a compact package will enable smart building system integrators to utilise thermal data within more affordable systems and simplify deployment,” states Mike Walters, Teledyne FLIR’s VP of Product Management. “Developers can also leverage the Teledyne FLIR Technical Service Team for assistance along with online resources - from source codes to licenses, to speed the development process.
