Lauterbach Technology Supports Latest Infineon Multi-Core MCUs

Lauterbach has confirmed that its TRACE32 development tool platform is now able to support the AURIX 3rd generation multi-core microcontroller units (MCUs) from Infineon, including the flagship TC4x series.
TRACE32 is unique in enabling hardware-accelerated debugging and real-time tracing of all the cores encompassed within the AURIX series. Covered by this support is simultaneous debugging of all the 500MHz-rated TriCore central processing unit (CPU) cores, plus non-intrusive CPU trace capture.
The TRACE32 tools comprise the universal PowerView debugging and tracing software, alongside debug and trace accelerator modules. The intelligent PowerDebug modules deliver accelerated download speeds and rapid responsiveness, while the PowerTrace real-time trace modules mean that detailed insights on CPU behaviour can be derived. Innovative hypervisor and OS awareness technology enables even virtualised environments to be comprehensively examined.
