Advanced & Highly Versatile Digital Front Lighting Module

Benefitting from ams OSRAM’s EVIYOS 2.0 multipixel LED light source, the Marelli h-Digi microLED high-resolution front lighting module has 40,000 LED pixels (20,000 per lamp).

Through this automotive digital lighting solution (featuring digital micro-mirror technology and with pixels of 40µm x 40µm dimensions), dynamic front light operation and image projection can be delivered. Built-in intelligent LED management means that the relevant emitters can be assigned in order to create low-beam and high-beam illumination distributions, with different driving situations being adapted to (countryside, urban environments, motorways, adverse weather conditions, etc.). Precise glare-free high-beam block out zones can be activated to avoid causing viewing difficulties for the drivers of oncoming vehicles. The module has the capacity to project warnings or driver assistance images on the road ahead, so they are directly in the driver’s field of vision.
