Angled Connectors Address Applications with Restricted Installation Conditions

To extend the scope of its 720 and 770 product series, Binder now offers field-attachable angled variants, that act as space-saving alternatives to the standard straight versions.

These compact angled interconnects are of value in situations where electrical connections need to be established within confined application environments. They have snap-in or bayonet locking mechanisms that provide reliable mating.

Intended for use in lighting installations, greenhouse heating systems and e-bikes, the new angled versions of the snap-in 720 series have rated voltages from 60V to 250V, and can carry currents from 2A to 7A. They can withstand more than 500 mating cycles and, when mated, they fully conform with IP67 protection against dust/liquid ingress.

The not connected closed (NCC) 770 series with bayonet locking mechanisms are meant for use in compact handheld control panels, medical homecare units and laboratory metering instrumentation. They have a 175V rated voltage and 2A current. A 5,000 mating cycle durability is supported, as well as IP67 protection.
