Cadence Collaborates with Arm to Enable Faster Paths to Tape-Out

Cadence has further extended it cooperation with Arm to advance silicon success within a mobile device context.
The company is looking to increase verification throughput and accelerate progression to tape-out via use of its latest tools, alongside the new Arm Total Compute Solutions 2023 (TCS23) - which includes the Arm Cortex-X4, Arm Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 CPUs plus the Immortalis-G720, Mali-G720 and Mali-G620 GPUs.
Through the collaboration, Cadence is delivering comprehensive RTL-to-GDS digital flow rapid adoption kits (RAKs) for 3nm and 5nm nodes. These will assist engineers in attaining their power and performance objectives on the Arm TCS23 platform. Among the Cadence tools optimised for Arm TCS23 usage are the Cerebrus Intelligent Chip Explorer, Genus Synthesis solution, Modus DFT software and the Innovus implementation system.
