Arduino IIoT PLC Hardware Now Available via Mouser

These simple to work with units are based on STMicroelectronics’ STM32H747XI dual-core microcontroller solution. This combines a high-performance Arm Cortex-M7 core capable of running at up to 480MHz with a power-conserving Cortex-M4 core. The PLCs will enable engineers to scale their industrial automation projects by benefitting from the open Arduino-related ecosystem. They support real-time control, monitoring and predictive maintenance, with Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and building automation being among the key applications where they will be used. There are 3 variants to choose from. One has Ethernet and USB Type-C connectivity, with another having RS485 half-duplex serial interfacing. The final variant is wireless enabled, featuring Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE connectivity. All variants support over-the-air updates and feature a dedicated secure element to ensure that data is safeguarded.
