Highly Responsive Touch Display Modules

Using STMicroelectronics’ microcontroller technology as a foundation, the Powertip STM32 display modules from Inelco Hunter are optimised for applications in which rapid reaction times and smooth graphic rendering are required.
The Arm Cortex-M7-based microcontrollers incorporated into these modules deliver elevated levels of performance, resulting in accelerated responsiveness. For example, instrumentation equipment will be able quickly plot jitter-free graphs and support full MJPEG video playback.
Screen sizes ranging from 3.5-inch to 5-inch are available, with high resolutions and wide viewing angles. The intuitive TouchGFX software that supports these modules will enable developers to define their displays’ graphic touch interfaces within the shortest possible timeframe, by using graphic icons from the supplied library stock. In addition, custom graphic blocks can be quickly generated or uploaded from external sources direct to the system. Inelco Hunter can provide a dedicated board support package (BSP), which allows customers to do development work using STM32CubeIDE or KEIL MDK - effectively turning the display into a standalone embedded module in its own right.
