Formula Student Team Receives Sponsorship from Analog Devices

Analog Devices has announced support for Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences’ Team wob-racing. Its latest Formula Student race car, the WR17, has an impressive acceleration of 0 to 100km/h within 2.2s.
A platinum sponsor of this team, the semiconductor manufacturer is supplying advanced technology to the vehicle’s powertrain, such as within the inverter assembly and battery management system (BMS).
“The most important factor for the one-year development of a Formula Student race car is reliability and short-term availability, especially for electronic components. We were able to easily integrate ADI’s solutions into almost every electronic assembly in our WR17, thanks to the high quality and truly extensive product range they provided,” stated Felix Veltmaat, Team wob-racing’s Technical Leader.
