ams OSRAM’s Compact Green Laser Diode for Industrial/Medical Usage Now Stocked by Mouser

Delivering a 514nm (±1nm) typical emission wavelength and 50mW of optical output power, the PLT5 522FA_P green laser diodes from ams OSRAM have just been added to Mouser’s inventory.
These green laser diodes present engineers with a more cost-effective alternative to argon-ion lasers. Among their key uses are industrial automation systems, 3D sensing, gesture recognition and diagnostic equipment.
PLT5 522FA_P devices can provide both continuous wave and pulsed outputs. They have thermally-stabilised optics and are housed in hermetically-sealed metal cans that measure 5.6mm in diameter.
