Engineering Design Show postponed to 2021
MA Exhibitions, the events arm of media company, The Mark Allen Group has announced that it has taken the difficult decision to reschedule its event, The Engineering Design Show from 14-15 October 2020 to March 31-April 1 2021, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The Engineering Design Show (EDS) is the UK’s only event entirely dedicated to engineering, electronics and embedded design. The show provides the ideal environment for design engineers to benefit from direct access to the latest products, services and innovations available to the sector. EDS provides visitors with unrivalled access to expert speakers exploring best practice, new design techniques and industry issues.
"As show organisers, our number one priority is to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all of our exhibitors, visitors and staff," said Nicki Jackson, Event Director.
Given the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the concerns shared by a number of the show’s partners, MA Exhibitions have decided that in order to minimise the risks to visitors and exhibitors, the event will now take place at the end of March 2021 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
The organisers believe that by moving the show to March 2021, they will be able to offer a better experience for visitors and exhibitors than they would under current conditions.
All existing exhibitor bookings will be automatically transferred to the new dates and the EDS team is contacting exhibitors to discuss any questions they might have. MA Exhibitions would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the show’s partners for their understanding in this matter and looks forward to working with exhibitors and partners to deliver an outstanding event in March.
