With a focus on 5G opportunities for the UK’s manufacturing sector, this industry event includes thought provoking keynotes, engaging panel discussions, learning & networking, as well as hands-on experience of 5G demos & the launch of Digital Catapult’s Made in 5G discussion paper.

As announced by Jeremy Wright, Secretary of State for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport during London Tech Week, this new 5G Sector Testbeds & Trials competition will have £40m available for match-funded projects over the next two and a half years, representing a great new opportunity for innovation across manufacturing industries and their UK supply chain.

5G brings far more than just extra bandwidth – it is a key enabler for industrial digitalisation, providing new capabilities as companies scale digital deployments. 5G is a step-change in mobile network technology, providing a combination of features for industrial digital technologies.

Made in 5G, written for the UK manufacturing industry, fuses Digital Catapult’s 5G expertise with insight from manufacturing executives.

At this event you’ll gain insight into what 5G can do for your business and debate the challenges with peers and experts. We are pleased to announce that keynote speakers from Ocado and Worcestershire 5G Testbed will be joined by industry panellists, Jaguar Land Rover, BAE Systems, Eurovia and Seagate, as well as 5G experts Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei and CGI.
