EPDT blogs: hear from industry experts...
31 January 2019
EPDT Editor, Mark Gradwell sets out his vision for EPDT's blogs section, which features viewpoints, opinion, business news & comment from industry experts.
EPDT is dedicated to finding and delivering the best electronics design, manufacturing & test stories for you. We aim to shine a light on the collective achievements of the electronics industry – helping inform, educate and engage you with timely, relevant and interesting content to help you develop your skills, knowledge and careers.
The monthly magazine carrries technical feature, case study, tutorial, events, interview, Q&A and viewpoint content, covering not only the broadest range of technologies & industries, but also the entire electronic product development & manufacturing cycle, from design, through production, to test – plus the supply chain (via dedicated twice-yearly Distribution & Outsourcing supplements). Each issue also includes editorial comment on topical industry issues, and a STEM column, focusing on society’s combined efforts to inspire the next generation of engineers & scientists.
EPDT magazine features are also available via our digital issue – and in the features section on the EPDT website, where they are supplemented with a mix of product and industry news, technology stories and features – which we then share via our weekly email newsletter, as well as our social channels, using Twitter (@EPDTnews) and LinkedIn.
EPDT's blog section is home to EPDT editorial comment and my regular STEM column – but is also where you can find viewpoints, opinion, business news and comment from industry experts. And from time to time, it will also feature guest blogs from my editorial colleagues at EPDT sister titles, DPA (the most widely read engineering design magazine in the UK), PBSI (the UK's leading magazine for the panel building, system integration & electrical contracting industries) and Connectivity 4 IR (for everything you need to know about Industry 4.0 & the Industrial Internet of Things). It's also where you can find the latest EPDT newsletters.
If you're a subject matter expert that would like to contribute a guest blog on a topic of interest for EPDT readers, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org...
