Telefonica commissions omniSHAPES first installation

The first UK installation of omniSHAPES has been commissioned and is due to be completed this summer.
The installation is at the Telefonica Digital Headquarters and the highlight of the project is a creative ‘chequers board’ design which the 28 screen, eyevis omniSHAPES videowall has been configured to. The original concept, which was designed by Christian Bozeat of Emergent AV, included a number of different display technologies from Projection to 103in Panasonic Plasma screens.
The innovative design of the omniSHAPES videowall will complement the high-tech theme of the newly acquired Air Street Project near Piccadilly Circus in London. This features impressive office accommodation, with conference and meeting facilities for the new headquarters of the digital media business of multinational telecommunications.
The client chose the revolutionary technology following the launch of omniSHAPES to the UK market at Screenmedia Expo in May. Smartcomm has an outstanding track record, offering a consultative service and providing the very latest AV technologies for commercial, residential and communications solutions.
