World’s smallest multi-timer LED Light

27 June 2017

The Bekla Torch is the world’s smallest multi-timer LED light that provides flexibility in lighting dark spaces.

Recently launched on Kickstarter, this compact and versatile light was designed by mechanical engineer, Daniel Cole, and features a 180° wide-angled LED beam and multiple fixing options enabling people to use it in any situation where they need light, without having to search for a bulky torch or fumble for their phone and its light settings.

Bekla Torch is designed to be affixed to most surfaces, and can be left and switched on when needed to light-up practically any dark or awkward space – from wardrobes and drawers, to handbags and toolboxes. Its multiple-timer function enables you to access light at a touch of a button and not worry about having to switch it off afterwards.

Other key features:

- Two brightness settings
- Four timer settings – 10, 30, 60 and 180 seconds
- Four fixing options – key chain, magnet, clip or durable 3M adhesive tape
- Long battery life using two lithium coin batteries – lasting up to a year based on daily usage of 45 seconds

Daniel Cole said: “I designed the Bekla Torch earlier this year when I noticed my wife digging deep into her handbag trying to find something. I shopped around at various retailers to try and find a small light source that can be affixed to her bag but struggled so I set to work designing a solution that was compact, flexible and had a decent level of brightness. I then realised there was more to just designing a bag torch, and looked into adding additional features to appeal to a wider market - and that’s when Bekla Torch was born.”
