Coaxial connectors see improvements in durability

25 April 2017

The Nautilus range from GradConn receives a new addition to the line-up of IP rated coaxial connectors and cable assemblies.

The Nautilus N connector further strengthens the range and provides stronger flexibility for designs requiring coaxial connections in demanding and harsh environments.

The Nautilus range was launched at the end of 2015 and has been widely accepted as a leading choice for environmentally sealed coaxial connections. The new N connector variant is available in rear mount configuration and shares all the same Nautilus features, including an internal seal and O-ring which prevents ingress through the inner contact and through the panel, rated to IP67 and IP68. The advantages of the N connector are due to its improved physical properties. Although larger than SMA, TNC and BNC variants, it is also stronger and more suitable for designs where durability is an important consideration.
